Upon arrival in Uyuni, our team will welcome you and
accompany you for breakfast before starting this extraordinary day.
We begin our tour in the picturesque town of Uyuni,
once an important railway hub between Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia. Today, its
remains stand as a testament to a glorious era.
The first visit will be the Train Station and its
colorful market, followed by the fascinating Train Cemetery, an open-air museum
where old rusty locomotives rest under the Altiplano sky. This historic and
nostalgic scene is perfect for unique photos.
The tour continues across vast plains towards the
mining town of San Cristóbal, one of Bolivia’s most important projects. As we
advance, the landscape transforms upon reaching the Valle de las Rocas, an
impressive collection of wind-sculpted rock formations where nature becomes
art.
We will discover unexpected oases called bofedales,
vital for Andean wildlife, and enjoy the tranquil Laguna Escondida and Laguna
Vinto, true mirrors reflecting the serenity of the Bolivian Altiplano. The day
ends with a visit to the enigmatic formations of Italia Perdida and the famous
Piedra Copa del Mundo, two natural jewels of southern Bolivia.
Finally, we arrive in Villamar, check into the hotel,

After breakfast, we depart Villamar toward the heart
of the Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa (REA), one of the most
stunning places in the Bolivian Altiplano. Prepare for a day where nature
reveals its full splendor and the infinite range of unique colors of Sud Lipez.
Our first stop is Laguna Colorada, a visual spectacle
with intense red tones. This natural phenomenon, caused by microalgae and
minerals, is also home to thousands of Andean flamingos, bringing life and
movement to the landscape.
Next, we continue to the geothermal field Geysers Sol
de Mañana, where the earth breathes and roars through fumaroles and boiling mud
pits. At nearly 5,000 meters above sea level, you will feel the planet’s pure
energy beneath your feet.
After the morning chill, nothing beats relaxing in
Polques Hot Springs, a true natural oasis surrounded by mountains. If you wish,
you can enjoy a bath in mineral-rich waters while taking in the serenity of
Salar de Chalviri stretching across the horizon.
The route continues to the Dalí Desert, a vast stretch
of sand and rock that looks like a surrealist canvas. Its shapes and colors,
sculpted by wind and time, evoke the paintings of master Salvador Dalí.
At the foot of the majestic Licancabur Volcano (5,971 m), we discover the
mystical Laguna Verde, famous for its shifting emerald hues due to its high
mineral content.
In the afternoon, we begin the return through the
Siloli Desert, where unique natural sculptures rise, such as the iconic Árbol
de Piedra and the rock formations known as the Damas del Desierto. The sunset
bathes the rocks, revealing golden and reddish tones, transforming the
surroundings into a natural masterpiece.
At the end of the day, we arrive at Ojo de Perdiz for
dinner and rest. Under one of the clearest skies on the planet, the Altiplano
firmament unfolds like an unforgettable starry blanket.

After breakfast, leave Ojo de Perdiz to explore serene
lagoons and the vast white salt deserts.
The route follows the spectacular Route of the Jewels, a series of
high-altitude lagoons: Laguna Ramaditas, Laguna Honda, Laguna Chiar Khota,
Laguna Hedionda, and Laguna Cañapa. Each offers unique hues from turquoise to
emerald, home to Andean flamingos and Altiplano birds, creating an
unforgettable visual experience.
Continue to Ollagüe Volcano, an imposing active giant
dominating the horizon on the Bolivia-Chile border. From its natural viewpoint,
enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and the vast Chiguana Salt Flats en
route to the trip’s final highlight.
The landscape opens to the majestic Uyuni Salt Flats,
the world’s largest salt desert, where sky and earth merge into an endless
horizon. Enjoy an unforgettable lunch amid the white expanse before visiting
Incahuasi Island. This fossil coral island dotted with giant cacti offers a
short panoramic hike to the top, where you’ll enjoy a 360° view of the immense
Uyuni Salt Flats and capture creative photos while feeling the energy of this

Return to Uyuni, crossing the vast salt expanse, with
a stop at Playa Blanca, home to the world’s first salt hotel. Visit iconic
landmarks such as the Salt Labyrinth and monumental sculptures carved entirely
from salt, true works of art. Observe traditional salt piles crafted by local
workers and discover the fascinating water eyes, where salt crystals form
beneath the surface.
Finally, transfer to the bus terminal for your return
to La Paz.
