Early in the morning, you’ll be transferred to El Alto Airport for your flight to Uyuni. Upon arrival, our team will warmly welcome you before beginning this extraordinary day filled with unique landscapes and unforgettable experiences.
We’ll start in the picturesque town of Uyuni, once an important railway hub between Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia. Today, its remains stand as a testament to a glorious era.
Our first visits include the Train Station and its colorful local market, followed by the fascinating Train Cemetery, an open-air museum where old locomotives rest under the Andean sky — a perfect spot for unique photographs.
The route continues through vast plains toward the mining village of San Cristóbal, one of Bolivia’s most significant mining projects. As we move on, the landscape transforms upon reaching the Valley of the Rocks, a stunning collection of wind-carved rock formations where nature becomes art.
We’ll discover hidden wetlands known as bofedales, vital to Andean wildlife, and visit the serene Hidden Lagoon and Vinto Lagoon — true mirrors of tranquility reflecting the calm of the Bolivian highlands.
The day concludes with the mysterious formations of Lost Italy and the famous World Cup Rock, two natural gems of southern Bolivia.
Finally, we’ll arrive in Villamar for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, we’ll head toward the heart of the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve (REA), one of the most striking areas of the Bolivian Altiplano. Prepare for a day where nature unveils its full splendor in a kaleidoscope of colors unique to the Sud Lipez region.
Our first stop is Colorada Lagoon, a dazzling natural wonder of deep red tones caused by microalgae and minerals — home to thousands of Andean flamingos that bring the landscape to life.
We’ll continue to the Sol de Mañana Geysers, where the Earth breathes through steaming fumaroles and bubbling mud pools. At nearly 5,000 meters above sea level, you’ll feel the planet’s raw energy beneath your feet.
After the morning chill, enjoy a soothing dip in the Polques Hot Springs, a natural oasis surrounded by mountains, with views of the serene Chalviri Salt Flat stretching into the horizon.
Our journey continues through the Dalí Desert, a surreal landscape of sand and stone whose shapes and colors evoke the works of Salvador Dalí.
At the foot of the majestic Licancahur Volcano (5,971 m), we’ll find the mystical Green Lagoon, famous for its shifting emerald hues caused by high mineral content.
Later, we’ll cross the Siloli Desert, home to unique natural sculptures like the iconic Stone Tree and the whimsical formations known as the Ladies of the Desert. As the sun sets, the rocks glow in golden and red tones, transforming the landscape into a living painting.
Dinner and overnight stay in Ojo de Perdiz, under one of the clearest skies on Earth — a starlit night you’ll never forget.

place Day 3: Ojo de Perdiz – Route of the Jewels (Ramaditas Lagoon, Honda Lagoon, Chiar Khota Lagoon, Hedionda Lagoon, Cañapa Lagoon) – Ollagüe Volcano – Chiguana Salt Flat – Uyuni Salt Flats – Incahuasi Island – Colchani / Uyuni home check Salt hotel directions_car check 4WD full day translate ESG check English speaking guide full day restaurant check Breakfast, lunch, dinner included

After breakfast, we’ll leave Ojo de Perdiz to begin a day devoted to the serene beauty of the lagoons and the vast immensity of the salt flats.
We’ll travel along the Route of the Jewels, a chain of high-Andean lagoons — Ramaditas, Honda, Chiar Khota, Hedionda, and Cañapa — each with its own color palette, ranging from turquoise to emerald, and home to flamingos and other highland birds.
Next, we’ll continue to the active Ollagüe Volcano, which dominates the horizon along the Bolivia-Chile border. From its natural viewpoint, we’ll enjoy stunning vistas of the Andes and cross the vast Chiguana Salt Flat en route to the journey’s highlight: the Uyuni Salt Flats.
Stretching endlessly, the Uyuni Salt Flats blur the line between sky and earth. Here, we’ll have lunch in the middle of the white expanse before visiting Incahuasi Island — a fossilized coral island dotted with giant cacti offering a 360° panoramic view of the endless salt desert.
We’ll also visit Playa Blanca, home to the world’s first salt hotel, and see the Salt Labyrinth, monumental salt sculptures, and the traditional salt mounds handcrafted by local workers. You may also encounter the “eyes of the salt,” where briny water seeps through the surface forming crystal pools. Afterward, we’ll head to our hotel for dinner and rest.
